Except as disclosed in this Privacy Statement, we do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transmit any Personally Identifiable Information we collect online unless we have your permission.  Your personal information is used primarily to establish personal accounts to gain access to DCTS email updates, and to contact you in the course of valuable research or special events.  Demographic and profile data collected by DCTS may be used to tailor our website and email communications, and to share information that is more relevant to you.  DCTS also compiles demographic and personal information, but in the aggregate only, and may make that aggregate information publicly available.  Under no circumstances will the DCTS make any personal information about an individual user available to anyone.

DCTS’s website, similar to other standard websites, tracks web browsing patterns to understand how the website is being used. This “generic” information is collected through the use of “cookies,” which are text files placed on your computer to “remember” your preferences such as calendar settings and site bookmarks on the website from visit to visit, or to maintain your “logged in” status when visiting password-protected areas. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment. Credit card numbers are not stored on DCTS website servers.  

Non-Secured Communications 

Posts to any discussion forums and boards, including comments associated with DCTS’s blog and videos posted on the school’s website, are viewable by other users. Postings in a non-password-protected area such as these may be viewable by the general public
