Dauphin County Technical School is a full-time, comprehensive public career and technical high school serving Central Dauphin, Derry Township, Halifax Area, Lower Dauphin, Middletown Area, and Susquehanna Township School Districts. Students from other school districts may attend on a tuition basis. At DCTech we believe in educating the whole student by focusing on both the student's academic and career preparation.

Applications For 2013-2014 Are Now Available!

Applications for the 2013-2014 school year are now available!

Printed applications can be obtained from Guidance Counselors in the Central Dauphin, Derry Township, Halifax, Lower Dauphin, Middletown, Susquehanna and Harrisburg school districts, or one can be printed from here.

If your son/daughter currently attends a school district not listed above, or is not enrolled in a public school (i.e., homeschooled, cyber/charter school, private school, etc.), please download and print the information using the appropriate application link.

2013 DCTS Career Camp

Dauphin County Technical School is offering a Summer Career Camp. This camp is free to all current 6th and 7th graders from Dauphin County public schools. Students from consortium districts (Central Dauphin, Derry Township, Halifax, Lower Dauphin, Middletown Area, and Susquehanna Township), will have priority over non-consortium applicants provided deadlines are met.

Goal:  to conduct a Career Camp that is FREE, fun, educational, and safe. Our program introduces young minds to various careers and interests.

Date: The camp will be held at Dauphin County Technical School Wednesday, June 12 through Friday, June, 14, 2013.

Registration: Applications are on our website. You may also contact the Continuing Education Office at (717)-652-3170, ext. 7445 or ext. 7127.

This career exploration camp is designed for middle school students and will give them an overview of possible careers and interests for their future!

All camper projects will be sent home. We hope that you encourage your child to attend for three days of fun that will benefit them now and in the future.

2013 DCTS Calendar Fundraiser

The 2013 DCTS Calendars were designed and produced by Taylor Laing and Michael McPhillips, students in the Graphic Arts Program. The cost is $5 and proceeds benefit our own DCTS students in need. You may purchase them at the Spot or the Business Office. Thank you for Support!

FCCLA Fundraiser

FCCLA is having a Sheetz coupon book fundraiser for $10 each.  If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Surmacz at esurmacz@dcts.org

Wolverine Discount Cards    All discount cards are now on sale for $6.00!!!

The Wolverine Council is now selling their Discount Cards for $10 each. The card includes discounts for 15 different businesses around the area and is valid until November 2013. All proceeds go towards the Wolverine Council activities including Field Day. They will be on sale in the cafeteria during Open House and will continue being sold thereafter. Make sure you come and get one!
