The goal of this 4 hour course is to provide training to pet owner’s for immediate and temporary care of an injured animal until it can be transported to a professional veterinarian for more thorough medical care and attention. The training will aid in protecting both pets and owners from further harm, injury, or suffering during emergencies, by teaching prompt actions and care that will safeguard the life of an injured pet. Topics include:
Class handouts and a Red Cross Manual (cat or dog) are included in the cost of this course. First Aid kits and additional books will also be available for purchase. Fall 2012 Course Information:
