Non-Member Info
For students residing in non-member
districts, applications to Dauphin County Technical School
must come through the school district guidance office.
The application and parental registration must
be filled out completely and returned to your guidance counselor. The guidance
counselor will collect the other information and prepare the packet to be
sent to the technical school. All applications must be received by the technical
school by the due date for admissions for the next school year. Student applications
from non-member districts are accepted for grades 10-12 and are dependent
on the spaces available in the applicants first or second choice of career
and technical programs because students from member districts will be given
priority in program selection.
As per JOC policy, All non-member district applications
are subject to review by the Administrative Director of the Dauphin County
Technical School, and upon approval, will be forwarded to the Joint Operating
Committee for formal acceptance. All applicants should be in good academic
standing, have good attendance, and demonstrate appropriate behavior.
