MEET J.O.C.

The Dauphin County Technical School is governed by a legal document entitled the Articles of Agreement approved by each of the six member districts. The Articles of Agreement create a Joint Operating Committee which is composed of two school board representatives from each of our six member districts. The member districts elect two representatives to the DCTS JOC at their December meeting. At the DCTS December JOC meeting, officers are elected by the JOC for the upcoming calendar year. The Joint Operating Committee (JOC) meets monthly (second Wednesday at 7:45pm) to transact school business and to take action on other items in a manner identical to that of a traditional school district. The meeting is held at the Dauphin County Technical School. (Currently held in the library but is subject to change.)
