Dauphin County Technical School wants our graduates to be competitive in the job market upon graduation.

Being competitive means that they will be able to read the materials required of entry-level employees.

Because of the nature of technical reading, our graduates may be faced with more difficult reading requirements than that of a college freshman.

In effort to raise the Reading ability of all of our students, we are taking a bold step in secondary education by requiring all students to participate in RISE.
