New Admission - DCTS Career Paths

Dauphin County Technical School has 24 programs that offer many career paths. Students may research a career by selecting a particular Career & Technical program. During his/her time in the program he/she will see and experience many career paths in the vocation. Some paths may lead to the world of work and others will lead to a two or four year college

Various programs will lead to a certified assessment that is valued in industry; other programs will allow students to receive college credit while still in high school. Students meet with instructors and guidance counselors to decide on career objectives and the career path they will follow.

In the academic arena, students will be challenged with strenuous and in most cases college preparatory courses that will prepare the student to be successful in post high school activities.
